For years, my email was posted here and available to all my readers and fans. That is no longer the case. I have been forced to remove it by the actions of individuals who prowl my site masquerading as fans and fishing for business.
The last few months, I’ve been inundated with scam offers. Could you believe that James Patterson, a VP of MacMillan Publishers, and George Lucas want to work with me?
Interestingly, they all have gmail addresses! There is a flood of individuals who just “ran into my work” online and were floored by its power and message. How do you run into my work without buying it?
My posts have been bombarded by page-long comments in Russian and Chinese which I then have to remove to the spam folder or delete since all comments must be approved by me.
Please, do not contact me to offer marketing, editing, video, reviews, formatting services, Goodreads listopias, or any other promotional offers. I use only services I trust because other authors recommend them, or I have used them before.
I never use services that lack extensive, long-term websites. I have been the victim of scammers before and will not do business with people I do not know.
I keep a low profile on the social networks. I do have a new author page on Facebook, where you can contact me or leave me a message. If it’s a call to collaborate or discuss my work, I will not answer. Don’t waste both of our time.
