As you all must know, the novels Rose and the Vampires and Rose and the Witches, have disappeared from all sellers. After much soul-searching and lip biting, I had to made the tough decision to unpublish them.
I had to face the reality that they were not thriving. The 3rd book in the series was about to be released, and I could not in all conscience release a 3rd book to languish with its sisters in failure.
After much consultation and advice from other professionals in the business, I decided to rebrand the series because it was not reaching its intended audience as presently published. The entire series is being retitled, rebranded with new, romantasy genre covers, new blurbs, new edits, and new launch strategies. I am also using my own ISBNs rather than Amazon’s free ones.
I have never used launch strategies before, other than releasing the book and letting my VIP list know. This time, I hope to give the series all the hoopla it deserves. The 2nd and 3rd book will be released at intervals of 4 to six weeks. The new 3rd novel has been in the works for two years!
The new titles are as follows:
Servant of the Blood (Rose and the Vampires)
Daughter of Magic (Rose and the Witches)
Queen of the Serpents (Rose and the Dragons)
I really love this series and have been disappointed by the lack of reviews. It is well-written and thoroughly edited. The main problem seems to be the content, which is not geared towards the YA and clean-reads audience that tends to pick it up because of its covers and blurbs. Recently, hundreds of copies of Rose and the Witches were downloaded without a single review to show for it, not even bad reviews!
I hope that this series finds its readership with the new rebranding.
